Product details

Ulmus Dodoens, known as the Dodoens Elm, is a tough broad headed Elm bred in the Netherlands for its Dutch Elm Disease resistance back in the 1950s and released for commercial sale in the 1970s.

It has withstood the test of time and remains resistant but this genus remains problematic so don’t base your planting plan on Ulmus!

This Elm isa vigorous tree that has rough leaves which turn from a deep green to a clear yellow in the autumn before leaf fall.

Ulmus Dodoens thrives on most free draining soils whether light or heavy and can even grow in land near to the coast.

Mature Height: 20m+
